How to use your clogk

CLOGK is a modern take on the everyday clock. At rest, the CLOGK acts as an eye catching and modern decorative piece or paperweight.
When activated by touch, the wood-like CLOGK displays an analog clock or cooking timer.
Your CLOGK is equipped with two touch sensors. These two sensors are responsible for all the interactions with the object.

SWITCH ON THE CLOGK

Normally CLOGK has the display switched off. To switch on the display and to see the current time, you have to touch (short touch) the CLOGK on the left side. After 1 minute, the display will be switched off automatically, to prevent battery consumption.

SWITCHING FROM CLOCK MODE TO TIMER MODE

You can change function simply touching the CLOGK on the right side (short touch).

ADJUST TIME in CLOCK Mode

When the CLOGK is in clock mode, you can configure the correct time using the touch sensor on the left side. With a long touch (more than 1 second) of the left touch sensor, the device will enter in configuration mode and the hour LEDs will start to blink. Now, with short touches of the left touch sensor you can configure the correct value for the hour (each short touch corresponds to +1 in hour). When the hour is correctly configured, you can go to Minutes adjust with a long touch (more than 1 second) of the left touch sensor. Now, the hour LEDs will stop to blink, and the Minute LEDs will start. With the same technique already described for hour configuration, you can configure the correct value for minutes (each short touch of left sensor corresponds to +1 in minutes). When the minutes are correctly configured, you have to perform another long touch (more than 1 second) to go on Seconds adjust. With short touches you will regulate seconds, with a long touch you will exit from Adjust mode.

ADJUST COUNTDOWN IN TIMER MODE

When the CLOGK is in Timer mode, you can configure the correct countdown using the touch sensor on the left side.

START A COUNTDOWN IN TIMER MODE

To start a countdown in timer mode, you have to perform a single short touch of the senosor on the left side.

BATTERIES

Inserting 4xAA batteries, the electronic boards inside the device will start to work and the GKILO will be ready. At the moment, the duration of the batteries in stand by mode is 60 days, but we are continuing to improve our firmware, so the consumption will be further reduced in the next future. Anyway, we suggest to use rechargeable batteries, that have a lower environment impact.
